Oscar-Winning Actor Jeff Bridges Announces Cancer Diagnosis

Oscar-winning actor and everyone's favorite Dude, Jeff Bridges announced Monday night that he has been diagnosed with Lymphoma. The Big Lebowski star wrote on Twitter "As the Dude would say... new S**T has come to light. I have been diagnosed with Lymphoma. Although it is a serious disease, I feel fortunate that I have a great team of doctors and the prognosis is good. I’m starting treatment and will keep you posted on my recovery." The 70-year-old followed up his announcement by thanking his family, friends and fans for their support. Bridges also reminded fans "Please remember to go vote because we are all in this together."  Along with becoming a cult-movie icon for his role as Jeff Lebowski, Bridges won a 2010 Oscar for his role as an alcoholic country musician in 'Crazy Heart'.
