Live Concerts Could Return by Fall 2021 After 70% of Population Is Vaccinated

Look at it like this. If you want to go to concerts or back to the movies sooner, get the COVID vaccine when you can. Dr. Anthony Fauci told a virtual conference of performing arts professionals that we could reach a 70 to 85 percent vaccination rate "sometime in the fall.” Fauci continued saying, "so that by the time we get to the early to mid-fall, you can have people feeling safe performing onstage as well as people in the audience.” To be precautionary, Fauci warns that venues should still require face masks. He said venues with good ventilation would open first. Fauci ended the talk on a positive note saying, “We’ll be back in the theaters — performers will be performing, audiences will be enjoying it. It will happen.”
