Ricky Martin, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Bad Bunny are among the celebrities who took to the streets on Wednesday demanding that Puerto Rican governor Ricardo Rosselló resign. "We’re tired of the cynicism. They put down women, they put down the LGBT community, people with disabilities," Martin said in a video from the protests that he shared to his Instagram Story. "Corruption, it is insane. We are tired, we can't take it anymore.” Rosselló has come under fire after leaked private chats between him and his inner circle revealed homophobic, sexist and profane remarks--including some directed at Martin. Bad Bunny also posted photos from the protest in Puerto Rico, while Hamilton creator Miranda joined protestors in New York City. He also wrote a poem dedicated to the people of Puerto Rico.
