Serena Williams Vows to Continue "Fighting For Equality" Until "The Day I'm In My Grave"

Serena Williams may have lost her Wimbledon final match in straight sets to Simona Halep, but the superstar certainly had the last word at a post-set press conference. As the interview was winding down, a journalist asked if she had a response to recent comments (including from tennis icon Billie Jean King) that suggested Williams should focus on tennis and take a breather from celebrity and activism. “Well, the day I stop fighting for equality, and for people that look like you and me will be the day I’m in my grave," she said, and punctuated her statement with a decisive head nod.
