K-LITE Scary Stories Contest!
Hey kids, scare us with your own original short story. Create a scary story that’s 15 sentences or less. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners receive cash prizes from Scary Stories Sponsor, Tremblay Financial, and an opportunity to read their entry live on the K-LITE Morning Show!
To enter, send a PDF version of written story HERE or drop off at 414 E. Cota Street, attention Catherine.
Contest Rules:
• Contest runs 10/2-10/24.
• Cash prizes: 1st place $200.00 - *2nd place $100.00 - *3rd place $50.00.
• Contest open to Kindergarten - 5th graders in Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties.
• All entries must be the original work of the student.
• Students are limited to one entry.
• Entries must be 15 sentences or less.
• Winners will be notified by phone, so include your number.
• The deadline for entries is Thursday, October 24th, 9 p.m.
